Contents: 1. Cases at the instigation of the Crown when the nature of the offense is sometimes stated; 2. Where cases were held over, the subsequent hearings are listed under the first entry. Names include Sir Kenelm Digby, Sir Thomas Lucy, John Pym, Sir John Suckling. Prynne published a pamphlet, Histriomastix (1632) in which he denounced female actors, at the same time Queen Henrietta Maria was participating in a court masque.
